[one_half last=”yes”]I grew up in Arkansas, the natural state, where I enjoyed countless outdoor adventures in the beautiful Ozark mountains. I moved to southern Missouri to attend college and now the Ozarks is my home and has been for more than a decade. As a child, I could almost always be found outside, poking anthills, catching lizards, fishing or exploring and I earned a nickname from my dad; nature girl. I graduated with a conservation and wildlife management degree and my passion became my career. I have had the opportunity to work at a fish hatchery, nature center and a visitor center as a certified interpretive guide. I have been thrilled to share my passion with others during my career.[/one_half]
