Table Rock State Park is located southwest of Branson, Missouri and on the shore of Table Rock Lake (one access point is 5272 Missouri State Highway 165 in Branson, Missouri). A manmade lake over 43,000 acres in size that was created by the Table Rock Dam, Table Rock Lake is located in the center of the Ozarks and is fed by the White River. The state park has two campgrounds; one that is available year-round and a second that is available from March through November. Campsites range from $12 to $46 per night plus a reservation fee depending on the season and amenities. Campsites range from basic spaces to sites with electricity, sewer, water, and other premium amenities.
Table Rock State Park can be a wonderful getaway. The park is in an oak and hickory forest of the Ozarks with access to a beautiful clear water lake. A marina offers jet skiing, water skiing, tubing, and biking rentals, as well as numerous types of boat rentals. The clear water of Table Rock Lake also provides the opportunity for great scuba diving and swimming. The surrounding state park has numerous nature and biking trails. Nature enthusiasts can explore of their own accord or learn from state park naturalists and nature programming. Do not forget to explore the greater Branson area, which in itself is a great tourist area with exciting entertainment options.
