[title size=”2″]Ward Branch Greenway[/title]
Ward Branch trail is another of the Ozark Greenways trails located in the Springfield, Missouri area. A relatively short, paved trail, it is currently divided into two sections, one mile of trail located in the Shadowood Subdivision travelling from Twin Oaks Substation (trailhead) to the Library Center, and a 2-mile route spanning from Wanda Gray School to Rivercut. The Ward Branch trail follows alongside Ward Branch Creek, making for a beautiful, quiet outdoors experience. This trail is not as heavily used as others in the Springfield area, providing the solitary nature lover with much more quiet and seclusion than the busier urban trails in town.
